This Karvel carpet is designed to replicate the carpet used originally in Austin Healeys back in the '50s and '60s. It has a slight rib effect with a hessian backing and is of very high quality!
Originally the carpets had very little binding to the edges, but we bind the front and rear floor mats and the transmission tunnel carpets. Most of our customers prefer this style as it gives a nicer finish. If you are doing a concours restoration and require a set without the binding, we are more than happy to oblige with your requests.
