The ability of adjustable camber on road and more importantly competition cars, allows the full potential of modern tyre designs to be achieved. Also used for correcting the camber angles on cars that suffers with a misaligned chassis.
Our complete kit is a direct replacement for the original Austin-Healey shock mounting plates welded on the chassis front suspension towers. N.B. the original shock mounting plates are notorious for cracking and should be checked annually.

The new Austin Healey shock absorber mounting plates have a machined steel tapped plate inside that can easily be finely adjusted in and out to give you exactly the desired camber angle. The range of adjustment that can be achieved with our kit is such that Healeys can be set up with negative camber that is required for competition use.
Our kit is a full complete set of parts required for the installation. Comprising of:
- Right and left hand cover plates
- Right and left hand machined shock mounting plates
- ARP shock mounting bolts
- High tensile adjusting bolts
- Rebound rubbers with fixings
IMPORTANT NOTICE!
Proper installation of these plates is essential and must be carried out by a skilled professional with comprehensive alignment tools.
Failure to keep the shock mounting bolts adequately tightened, allowing them to loosen, will cause significant damage to the vehicle.
