Designed for the Austin Healey Sprite Mk1 (Frogeye), this cotton/PVC harness provides updated wiring for a conversion from the original dynamo to a modern alternator. The charging cables are heavier to accommodate the alternator's higher output, while revised connections account for removal of the original control box. It is an alternative to the standard dynamo harness when renewing the vehicle's wiring.
Charging and Lighting Connections
These cables join the starter solenoid to pick up a permanent battery supply. The Brown/Blue wire is what feeds the lighting switch and would have originally come from the control box. However, with the control box being removed as part of the ALT modification, the Brown/Blue now feeds the lighting switch from the solenoid.
What's Included
One main wiring harness is required per vehicle. The headlamp pigtails and steering column harness are not included. A separate overdrive harness is also excluded, although this is not required on a standard Sprite Mk1 (Frogeye).

This harness is intended for modern alternator installations rather than the original dynamo arrangement.
