Will this fit my car?

Fits: Austin Healey BN4, BN6, BN7, BT7, BJ7 and BJ8 where the cooling layout uses a bottom hose without heater take-off.

Excludes: BN1 and BN2 bottom hose applications. Not suitable where a bottom hose with heater take-off is required. Not suitable for modified cooling conversions that change routing or connection sizes.

Which hose clips can be used?

Choose the clamp style that suits the engine bay and service preference:

• Jubilee type radiator hose clip (wide adjustment range)
• O.E. double wire radiator hose clip (more original look)

Pin & strip clips are typically chosen for earlier BN1-BN6 period presentation. If used, confirm clamp sizing and suitability for the joint.

Coolant & Cooling Care:

• Millers Extra Cool - 250ml - coolant enhancer and corrosion inhibitor.
• Alpine Blue Antifreeze Concentrate - 1 litre - traditional IAT antifreeze for classic cooling systems.
• Alpine Blue Antifreeze Concentrate - 5 litres - the same antifreeze in a larger container.

Alpine Blue must be diluted before use. Millers Extra Cool is a coolant enhancer, not an antifreeze.

Fitting notes and limitations

• Confirm the car uses the bottom hose configuration without a heater take-off before ordering.
• Inspect radiator and engine spigots for corrosion or pitting that can prevent sealing.
• Ensure the hose is fully seated, tighten clips evenly, then recheck after the first full heat cycle.
